Riley Hall - Fully Funded

The refurbishment and transformation of Riley Hall was made possible by the transformational gift made by current parents, Mr. Brian and Mrs. Barbara Riley P’21’26, in the sum of $4 million.

Riley Hall is the home of the W. Nicholas Howley Jr. Middle School program. Malvern Prep Middle School students benefit from the team-based, project-inspired environment while acquiring critical skills for future success. As a result, they matriculate into our Upper School and serve as immediate community members and class exemplars. They are the foundation from which we build the next great Malvern class of young men who lead with humility and heart.

Renovation of Riley Hall:

  • Extensive renovation and expansion of Riley Hall.
  • Updated space to house and accommodate the entire Middle School and serve as the primary academic building for the Howley Middle School program which was established in 2022.
  • A defined commons space for Middle School faculty and students.
  • Specific classrooms (design, function, and furniture) that are most conducive to high-level teaching and learning at the Middle School level.
  • The Courtyard between Riley Hall and Stewart Hall was updated with landscaping and hardscaping to provide an additional outdoor space for learning.
